Message from the Pro-rector of Foreign Students' Welfare

Dear students,

Our pro-rector Professor .A.A.Spasov called for a meeting on 30th March 2010 regarding the bombing incidents which took place in Moscow.

  • Students are required to remain calm. Security measures have been tightened up in Volgograd.
  • You are not allowed to roam around outside during odd hours especially alone. You are strongly recommended to stay at home after school hours.
  • You are advised to travel with company; not alone.
  • You are not allowed to leave Volgograd during this time being.
  • You are required to have your original passport, registration slip, and immigration card together with your student card at all times anywhere.
(Since the security measures have been tightened, you might be asked to show the police your documents more frequent than usual; failure to do so might end up with detention in the police station)
  • You are not advised to create any unnecessary attention and conflict in the streets.
  • Please take extra care of yourself. If there is any incident, you are required to report it to the university authorities, Malaysian curator and MSA ASAP.

    Please be informed.
